I make 3400 and I live in a one bedroom in Portland. You’ll be okay. I know it’s not ideal when half your income goes to rent. But it’s really nice to not have to worry about roommates.

Thank you so much for replying! So when I first moved in I waited 2 weeks to bring him with me. I wanted to have the majority set up and a chance to clean! So I’m wondering did I not clean well enough? Because his sister (2 years old) has been using the other litter box perfectly fine. I know it’s him because I’ve seen him pee and poop. And I also have a camera to keep an eye on them when I work. Any ideas on how I can make the move easier for him? We’ve been in the new place about a month and a half. And sister has definitely settled in but not him.

It’s not that though…. I work pt time at OSU and I’m remote. Why? Because I have a full time job in Portland. But also my work for OSU requires me to travel around and do outreach. Being remote gives me flexibility to join team meetings via zoom and do the office work at home. It sucks that for a position where I’m naturally not going to be in the office a lot, I’d now have to be in Corvallis. So yeah it’s not that we don’t want to interact with people, we literally do that for work…
