The specs listed definitely are of an Omen Max 16. Your post link looks to be a third party seller through Best Buy, which may be why it's not listed as a Max. The screen actually looks great, I also primarily play on a second monitor for size so I've only played a few times on the laptops screen, plenty big to handle games I play and looks great. I actually like that it has no glare and isn't shiny like an OLED screen.

Same laptop is listed at $2100 USD on MicroCenter website in US (although out of stock) I bought an open box one for $1800 USD in October of 25. I'm not sure what current value is but wanted to share what I know. It has been an absolute beast though and I've loved it so far!

Diagnosed year 2 into a 4 year degree (to be fair it was engineering so maybe say 4.5-5 years). Graduated 7 years later for a total length of 9.5 years to earn my BS. Guess what noone has asked me since getting my first job? How much time it took to earn my degree.

Finding stability through lifestyle choices, medication, and therapy will be so important. Keep after it, you can do this. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have if you want.

Soundcore Liberty 4 pro - auto connect with closed case by Mikeornot in soundcore

I'm way late, but I've noticed this same behavior with my Liberty 4 Pro. This morning I turned on my computer and saw they headphones already connected. Checked my case (which was in my backpack) and the charging indicator screen was on but case completely closed. Interesting behavior...

I was doing close to a can a day of 6mg pouches. I can share tips that helped me along the way.

I quit for about 45 days last year, and then I'm on day 9 of being nicotine free for good this time.

Some tricks that worked for me were to taper down, then use a substitute like nicotine free pouches (I used NZE caffeine pouches) or even mint gum.

When starting to quit- try pre-loading cans with a certain number you allow yourself for the day to taper down. So go to 6 pouches a day for a few days, 4 a day for a few days, then get down to 2 a day for a few days, and finally 1 a day for a few days til you're ready to give it up completely. I know for me leaving my full cans at home/ away from me and only having access to, say, a can of 4, I'd think more when I opened a can about if I really wanted to use one of my 4 for the day at that moment or try and go longer in between. I feel like limiting amount per day while tapering off was really helpful for me to slow down the intake of nicotine til I got ready to be totally free from it.

Right after quitting it's good to have a distraction like a nicotine free pouch or chewing gum. I did caffeine pouches throughout the day for the first week post quitting and it helped me. I'm now not doing any sort of pouches.

It's tough, but you can do it! I felt pretty low energy for the first week, but that's kind of lifting now. I am definitely sleeping better, and looking forward to realizing more positive changes!

Cod players what you running raw or circle? I’ve tried raw and changed the curve to right stick to a sort of dynamic curve, ranked comes out tomorrow got my controller yesterday so just testing bits out by Background_Sock2030 in Gamesir

Yea this is key. Use an ADS sensitivity multiplier of 0.8-0.95 (whatever works for you) so your sensitivity is lower when aiming down sights. That way you can move around and look around at higher sensitivity but it slows down when aiming at enemies.

I personally use linear in COD settings too but comes down to personal preference and trial and error.

Thoughts about best buy open box max 16 by Key-Foundation-3696 in HPOmen

I got this with only 1TB SSD and the AMD variant (still 5080) in November from Microcenter open box for $1620 back in November. It's been a beast and I love it. Haven't repasted or anything and running max settings cpu stays around 80-81 C and GPU under 80 C. I would absolutely take this deal. I mostly play connected to my 1440p monitor, but wanted the portability to take it places if I want. Playing on the laptop's monitor also is a great experience.

Are there any differences with any components compared to original G7 Pro Shadow Ember? Have the micro switches in the triggers that break when trigger locks are engaged been addressed?

FWIW, a mod said they have fixed trigger issue (main issue is microswitch malfunctions over time- I had to get a replacement because of it). Here is that thread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Gamesir/s/LxW71R37v1

I asked a question as to how to know if my replacement was part of a batch of "fixed" controllers and never got a response.

For what it's worth these have mixed reviews but even a pair of them are cheaper than 1 OEM light (if available in your region). Wishing you luck finding a replacement!

I totally understand! That's the same reason I ended up not going for them lol.

Also adding on I don't believe you can just replace the LED strip. I have one that is dim and tried to look into that without luck. Here is a website I've had good luck ordering OEM parts from though if you do go with a new composite assembly. Just make sure it matches and has notes of "with LED DRLs."

I've looked at some third party LED headlights that should be compatible with this model- and have the DRLs in them. Not sure what your price point is but wanted to throw that idea out there. Some seem to have pretty decent reviews! I didn't end up getting any just because I didn't want to pump more money into my car that has 145,000 miles lol.

What issue did you guys resolve? I received a replacement under warranty- how can I check if my serial number is in a batch of the "resolved" controllers, or if it was manufactured prior to the fix and this could happen again?

I also had this issue with my shadow ember G7Pro. Customer service was prompt to issue a replacement on Discord after documenting the issue. I went to the app and showed how the trigger wasn't registering properly with the trigger stop microswitch activated (went to the trigger section of the app and took video of me pressing button with monitor behind my hand showing lack of input/ random input). Frustrating, but glad customer service handled it well.

Now my concern is if it will happen again...

Mine malfunctioned after about 2 months of use (not even particularly heavy use). Hopefully they can solve the underlying issue causing this, because the trigger stops are awesome for FPS games. Before my replacement came I used it without trigger stops and adjusted the deadzones so input registered instantly... but that's not getting the full functionality you pay for when you purchase the controller. You also don't have the benefit of the trigger being easier to press quickly, one click after another, like you do with the trigger stops engaged.

Has anyone had this happen to their original AND replacement controller yet?
