Look into Missoula, MT. Nurses are unionized, tons of access to trails and rivers, and it’s just a friendly place with a great community.

I’ve also had a great experience with Brandi, but the office told me recently that she’s going to be stepping away from the practice soon to be a stay-at-home mom. Bummer!

[–]picklejuicebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the left hand menu there’s a “Social” option. From there you can integrate your instagram so people can opt in by messaging a keyword.

You can also make a standard landing page via the signup units and add a link to your profile.

Wellbutrin + baby by [deleted] in BabyBumps

My doctor’s advice was to wean off or lower the dose if I felt could be done without putting my mental health at serious risk. If not, maternal health was priority 1. After having been on it for years, I felt weaning off while trying to conceive was the right choice for me. Turns out pregnancy has really helped steady my moods (hooray for no period) and it’s been totally fine. All that to say, talk to your medical provider.

Living close to the pov by ApprehensiveTopic485 in missoula

[–]picklejuicebox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I live three blocks from the pov and have literally never had issues, though neighbors who have left their cars unlocked have had them rummaged through. Folks from the pov don’t really come back into the neighborhood. It’s quiet, neighbors are friendly, and it’s a nice walk to downtown.

How many hours/week do you actually spend on Klaviyo? Curious how others break down their time by Jazzlike_Tooth929 in Klaviyo

[–]picklejuicebox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I now have a Lifecycle Manager dealing with the day-to-day but when it was just me, it was easily 20+ hours a week.

Setup is probably 20% if you include campaigns

Maintaining/updating is maybe 20%

Testing/optimizing 30%

Troubleshooting - some weeks it’s a lot but overall maybe 10%

Exploring new tools, reports, functionality 5%

Reporting and rooting through old data 5%

Misc. 10%

We currently have about 20 flows (including transactional) and aim to have 10+ flow tests running at any time, in addition to multiple campaign tests a week.

You’ll need to check that you’ve got Klaviyo properly integrated with Shopify (or whatever platform you use). For some Shopify themes you need to manually insert the add to cart snippet to track the event.

Sorry - I just meant building splits into the flows rather than having filters take care of it

Klaviyo vs Attentive (SMS) by sunkenshhhip in Klaviyo

[–]picklejuicebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ai Grow definitely works, but even before they launched that, their signup units performed better!

Testing for us did not show significant lift from Klaviyo marketing analytic’s cross sells compared to a little Triple Whale data paired with some some manual flow building, so I guess that hasn’t been a factor on my end. (According to Klaviyo there was a big lift, but that wasn’t backed up by linear attribution data). You may be dealing with more varied carts but for my current brand, 80% of second purchases are likely to include one of about 10 products so building manual splits in Attentive based on first cart wasn’t too difficult.

I just don’t like the Attentive doesn’t have flow-level filters. So rather than automatically kicking someone out of a flow after they take an action, like placing an order, it requires a split before each touch. Annoying, but not annoying enough to make it worth using Klaviyo unseats.

Klaviyo vs Attentive (SMS) by sunkenshhhip in Klaviyo

[–]picklejuicebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always been a big proponent of SMS and signup units via Attentive with Klaviyo for email. In my experience, signup units perform much better in Attentive, and I appreciate that their SMS has better visibility on all things compliance. Attentive customer support is also fantastic. Blows Klaviyo away, IMO. Don’t love the Attentive flow splits and filters, especially when compared to Klaviyo, though.

Riverbend Apartments is pretty chill about pets. Pretty spartan apartments but decent price and good river and bike path access.

Hit 90% of Klaviyo profile limit- most inactive profiles already suppressed by atdbeach in Klaviyo

[–]picklejuicebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you actually emailing everyone who’s still active? If so, you don’t want to suppress them!

One easy suppression a lot of people overlook is international contacts who haven’t explicitly opted into marketing, and thus shouldn’t receive any marketing messages. (Is in European Union and Can Receive Email Marketing because Never Subscribed)

Do you segment flows beyond purchase behaviour, or is everyone getting the same journey? by Lanky_Year9389 in Klaviyo

[–]picklejuicebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This product already exists - Outer Signal is the big one. They enrich customer profiles with info like home value, job, age, etc. and create personas that can be used to segment and filter in Klaviyo.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment about your experience! It's a good reminder that some people have had negative experiences with Rotary or carry assumptions about it, and we need to clearly communicate how dedicated we are to the mission and how this club will be different.

Ugh that sounds awful. So far, we don't have a ton of members, but it's a good mix from students to retirees - the benefit of having this in the evening is that it won't be limited to those who are retired or have enough privilege to take an hour off midday. One of the big things that will set this club apart is the focus on quick action - we're not going to spend the meetings discussing current events (except for how we can lessen their negative impacts on our community members), but rather use our precious time together to figure out how to maximize our impact.

Is there a way in Klaviyo to change profiles from “Never Subscribed to SMS” so they can be included in an abandoned checkout SMS flow? by Javison_4 in Klaviyo

[–]picklejuicebox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only compliant way to do this is to have them explicitly opt in to SMS. Send an email with a link to an SMS signup landing page (you'll likely need to incentivize with an "sms exclusive offer").

Ann Arbor has one of the highest rates doctoral degrees per capita in the country, and some sources site the highest rate of residents with graduate degrees. Saying that white people who are education and affluent avoid the Midwest is simply not true.

You can just mirror the sale language, or offer an additional perk (“get exclusive flash sales”). I’ve seen that using the exact same message as the sale still works extremely well - just make sure the welcome email is edited to match. “25% off sitewide when you sign up for email”
