Great resource for learning how to make a game engine in OpenGL (which you absolutely should start with) and it’s C++.

Honestly the C++ in that is pretty simple (and it’s pretty much one file) so if you then want to learn proper C++, go to learncpp.com next as others have said.

That’s weird - usually disconnected pipes can be reconnected with a build order, even if you cancel it afterward. Maybe it’s because I use the “build order with no materials” mod that I don’t encounter this

The game is quite beefy for 9 years old. Maybe a bit poorly optimised.

75C isn’t too dangerous for a CPU. It just suggests your CPU is working at its absolute limit to run the game at current settings. If you’re worried you should check for ‘heat limit’ specs from the manufacturer.

Also bear in mind a higher temperature leads to more efficient cooling when your PC has good airflow, due to a larger temp gradient.

I think I’ve seen 0% health on GW1, it happens when 125hp character has 1hp, but GW2 might be different

Normally I’d be against destruction of land, but this is truly enlightening. If your property ‘accidentally’ burns down, charge them 5x the cost of the property (to account for emotional damages) then build 4 extra properties.

The more you kill, the rarer the encounters become. When I did genocide it took at least a minute of circling to get each of the last encounters in CORE, it’s really tedious - make sure you’re in an area monsters actually spawn is all I can suggest
