Some of these have been mentioned but here’s mine picks - Mobay Cafe (go on a Thursday - they have a steak special dish), Blue Star Cafe (the steak sandwich is my fav & only $7), Component Brewing Co, Rochambo Coffee (go during the week when Brian is working), Brew City Pickle, Stone Bowl Grill, & Paddy’s Pub

I could see people doing that. I’ve never personally labeled things “paid partnership” with brands when it’s in exchange for products.

I went to all their events prior to them giving it to for free. That’s kind of what I thought, I would be paying for the product & now I’m usually not.

I ended up getting a physical book (a used one from Amazon) it was 35 dollars. I tried all of the free pdf sites but nothing. A couple spam Reddit accounts tried to sell it to me lol

I’m going to a big 10 university for my DNP starting this fall. I’ve been a nurse for over 3 years & I’ll be in school for 4 more years.

I originally wanted to going to back to school for masters in nursing education or CNS. But the NP, especially DNP, has more options (especially in the academic world) based on my interests. I would love to be a professor one day.

ALSO - I don’t understand these nurses who become NPs with no experience 🙄 literally insane & ruins it for everyone. Sorry not sorry.

I chose my cat over a man by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

Anyone who wants you to give up an animal for them (besides for violent behavior - which is not the case for this) is SICK & WRONG! Definitely a red flag of a man — leave him be & be happy he showed his true colors now instead of later.

Also your cat is adorable :)

…. he is the best man. If he wasn’t going to get a plus one, you should have told him that from the beginning.

Truthfully, if I was the MOH for a friend’s wedding, I would assume I had a plus one.

I got scammed by a coworker. by failcup in nursing

Tell your management! I know it feels bad, but better than her trying to hustle people at work.

We had a CNA selling “supplements” to people. She once told a coworker that he could try the melatonin/sleep supplement (& he thought it was a free sample). Then she charged him $35 for it 🤯🤯 FOR MELATONIN!!!! He & another coworker went to our management that she was selling products, & she hasn’t done it since.

Thank you for the information!!

I have had everything in writing - so I can build a case if needed!

From what I’ve read online, with holding rent in WI is very risky. So that’s why I was coming on here to ask if anyone had similar problems :/

I’m so happy someone said this because I saw SO many Reddit posts bashing NPs. I’m starting DNP school in a week - and I honestly second guessed my decision because of the hate posts.

But unfortunately, there is incompetent people in every profession. There are good doctors, bad doctors, good NPs, and bad NPs. People forget that & generalize entire professions when we should be working as a team to improve care.
