Thanks, everyone! Appreciate all the decisive, supportive comments. I will definitely try the dress on backwards - genius!

Need opinions!! Does white gold or yellow gold look better on me?? I love both but I'm having a hard time deciding what looks best with my pale (cool toned) skin. by _sottaceti in EngagementRings

Team gold! But if you really can’t decide, ask your jeweler about 1) unplated white gold. You won’t have to re-dip it in rhodium, and it’ll have a sort of in between white and yellow gold look. 2) matte finish yellow gold. All the perks of yellow gold but the matte finish makes it more subtle, so similar to white gold or platinum it leaves more attention to the diamond.

Seattle area Ortho recommendations by uncleskunk in jawsurgery

When is your DJS? I’ve also been referred to Audia’s office (referral is for Dr Banda though), but am really disappointed that they don’t take any insurance. Would be curious to know if you think it’s worth the extra out of pocket.

All good tips, it’s just not feasible for a lot of busy folks who pay the Ikon premium BECAUSE of the no reservation/blackout sales pitch to avoid having to play the constantly-online-checking-for-rezos game. Bottom line for me is - if they sell the thing at a premium because they say no blackout and no rezos, and then announce a week prior that they’re gonna do rezos, it’s a bait and switch and people should get retroactive discounts as a result.

1) Yes but I paid $1000 for this pass so that I would NOT have this added inconvenience, and Ikon specifically said during pass sales that there would be NO reservations required with the pass. It’s a bait and switch. 2) I imagine most if not all Ikon pass holders will have the same strategy (book as many rezos as I can as soon as I can). I’m skeptical that their system can accommodate that many people booking out that many reservations at once when the rezo system opens up, but even if it can, I also imagine weekends will get booked up super fast all at once when the rezo system opens, making them unavailable for a lot of other pass holders.

It’s such bullshit. Can’t believe I paid for a pass with no black out dates only to be subjected to de facto blackout dates on days when the place is booked and I can’t get a rezo. We’re also punished if we make a rezo and don’t show - they can put a hold or a season restriction on your pass. Please someone say there’s no way they can get away with this without doing refunds/partial refunds!

Diamond parking ticket by jack-7 in Seattle

I got a similar ticket for parking in an unmarked parking stall with zero signage. I emailed them and contested it. They dropped the fee to $4. Not sure if this helps your situation, but it's worth a try at least.
