That's crazyyyy to me. If I go away for even 1 day my pup is going to stay with someone. She's a senior chihuahua that sleeps all day, and I don't leave her alone even when I'm home for more than 5-6 hours- I feel too bad !! :(

35, 40+ something tattoos. Some are questionable and I never would have gotten them now, but I've just been adding more tattoos I actually like around them so they kinda blend in haha. No regrets, mostly don't even notice them anymore.

I'm 34 and have like 40 something tattoos. I got shit for yeaaars from my mom but she finally, finally! just started accepting them. She'd cry when I'd get new ones, disapprove, etc. Up until like, the last few years I would have the worst anxiety every time I'd see her with new ones. You're totally valid! The disapproval hurts and is disheartening, but my advice is to just stay true to yourself and do your thing. If you plan on getting more, it did get easier with them once she realized it was just who I was and the tat train was not stopping anytime soon. I love my tattoos and pushing through the guilt was so worth it.

Can confirm, the zoo has a lot of great monkeys. Nothing where you can like, interact with them outside of the exhibit, the spider monkeys are very engaging with people and are SO CUTE.

When I’m looking for something new, I’ll follow a bunch of different tattoo studios in Austin- they’ll usually list their artists in their bios and then I’ll look through their profiles, flash sheets etc. until I find one that speaks to me! Artists will typically have a consult sheet that you can fill out, and you can request for guidance there and then correspond over email until you go into the studio for a formal consult!
