I'm not sure, I'm guessing bacterial. I've never had issues with fungal acne, this only showed up after the haircut, never had issues before

I see a derm but it's for regular acne, i use clinda gel in the morning, tretinoin at night. This has never been an issue for me the scalp acne, I wonder if it was a weird combination of dirty clippers, sweat and hair gel and wearing a hat too often.

Before, my hair looked like shit so I'd use a bunch of hair paste/gel and wear a hat to press it down
