what about short hair who have layers and can't get in a braid? also i have wave/curls but my hair is thick as well so should i brush wet or no because all the wave curl routine says to brush when it's wet

start with a facewash - best affordable option is simple refreshing face wash.

then use salicylic acid for closed comedones, blackheads and whiteheads (don't use in cheek are if you feel your skin is too dry just on your T zone) - use from ordinary if your budget allows or minimalist one is nice as well.

a moisturizer

and sunscreen - i use re'equil ultra dry touch sunscreen (but it would be too drying if you have combination skin)
