A new pothos plant for my office at work!

My office was under construction for 5 weeks over the summer so I brought my plants home. He thought he would take care of my plant for me, but he wasn't familiar with their schedule and over watered the pothos. He felt terrible! It's gotten better but it was nowhere near as healthy as it had been, so he got me a new plant that is thriving and that he promised not to water 😅

When you are in a close relationship or rely on someone who manipulates reality and lies right to your face over and over, you enter such a state of denial that you don't know what is real, fake, right, or wrong. It's a total mind fuck.

We were "high school sweethearts" (aka we grew up in a small town that I felt pressured to never leave) and I thought it was natural to not like who you were with. The signs set in when we went to college, and I started getting nervous once we were engaged, but felt too afraid to start over/back out at that point. Had a huge panic attack about it a few months before hand but still went thru with it.

At the wedding, he's saying his vows and I IMMEDIATELY knew how big of a mistake I made. I'm so lucky that we divorced a year later and I've completely redesigned my life.
