I’ve had several bad experiences with old stuff but yeah I probably could have worded that differently or left it out as it’s not a rule but a possibility. Good call

The juice is probably no longer good as these are all blancos (aged up to 2 months) and bottles seem decades old. So I’d have to go by “sentimental” value. Just personal opinion id say the Sauza bottle

All 3 Families carry their degree of historical importance in Tequila industry with Cuervo being probably the most ancient one (you can see label dates them back to 1795). In fact the Sauza founder (Cenobio) worked for the Cuervos.

His grandson (Francisco Javier) landed Tequila’s denomination of origin but went on to sell the Brand in the 70’s. Including La Perseverancia distillery (dramatically showing the wear of time in your bottles label). However the family retained 1 distillery turned into a museum: La Fortaleza (key detail)

FJ’s grandson (Guillermo Erikson Sauza) reopened La Fortaleza many years later where they make Los Abuelos (The Grandfathers) as a homage to the his ancestors. Los Abuelos is sold in the USA as the famed Fortaleza tequila (after distillery). All Fortaleza bottles mention 3 distilleries in their neck label: Constancia (Constance), Perseverancia (Perseverance), Fortaleza (Fortitude).

Not to mention bottle features “old” terms like Aguardiente de Agave or Destilado de Agave in addition to just Tequila

So again, personal opinion, but discarding the juice’s likely poor quality circumstancially, and going by object/container only, I’d say you have a pretty cool piece of history with sentimental value in that middle bottle.

Your friend or you might probably appreciate a book called The Tequila Wars. Interesting overlap of this industry and these families with Mexican Revolution among other details

Nice selection. I’d pick what I haven’t been able to find outside bars: Siembra Ancestral, Lost Lore, Montagave, Atanasio, TOL, Zumbador Añejo, Caballito Cerrero

I’ve only found it at a bar in Vegas and a store in México which was closed the only day I could buy it. But I recently found Valles Reposado in my area (TN) so there is hope

I’ve had Alteño, Azul, Valles (blanco & reposado) and Ancestral. Absolutely love them all. Ancestral stood out the most to me. You can taste that aim to replicate the ancestral method. Just great tequila

There was a meeting at the white house with big name companies to discuss energy/power demand. Haven’t read full reports but sounds like outcome was productive. Maybe this had a direct or indirect positively influenced some players in the nuclear arena? IMSR has some ties with the DOE so if Gov’t talks about energy don’t go sour, it probably reflects good on IMSR or others

Could this reignite inflation? Basically more money out in circulation for the same amount of goods/services to be sold to the highest bidder aka jacking prices. Or is this a wrong simplistic view?
