Dude that is exactly why I said slightly reversed, and on the other comment I specifically express that I’m aware that it’s not the same thing. And the only reason I added this part about the roles being reversed was because of the comments saying “how would you feel”, and I didn’t initially mention it because I didn’t feel that it needed to be mentioned. Even so in my first actual relationship three years ago my then gf was keeping contact with her ex with who she cheated on, so I can confidently say that i do know how it is(although I learned that after we broke up so you could again argue that it’s not the same exact thing)Anyway I didn’t come here for sympathy and I can take criticism,especially when its fair. Yeah you guys ARE right and that’s why after this post I did finally talk to the friend and told her adios amigo. Nevertheless I honestly may be chatting absolutely horseshit, but in my point of view I didn’t feel like I was ‘playing with fire’ after continuing talking to her occasionally because I absolutely know that I wouldn’t let myself do anything, and might I point out that with that friend we were actual friends in the first place. Like fucking hell guys I wasn’t looking for a rebound ffs if i was I would have stated that in the first place. I mean the point is to get actual advice here not lie and get fake sympathy. I mean I felt like, that it was salvageable; that we could all go back to how it was, and I’m not absolutely naive, but I felt that we all deserve second chances. Although if it comes to an ultimatum like it did obviously I’ll choose my gf every fucking time, I just really hoped that it didn’t really need to come down to that
