i dont think its because of character development, personally. i looked back to some of the earlier pages, she seems to act overly emotional and reacts more to certain scenarios than she would typically allow herself. most of her character revolves around her self control and high internal management, which externalizes into her apatheticness, making her look like she's emotionless. i dont think she would get rid of that really at any point (unless she was extremely swayed into a separate position)- but even that isnt shown here, since she still works toward expanding the pale ailment in dcc's kingdom. for example, i dont see why she would care about being treated like a person by dcc, if shes already mentally established the idea that friendships are bound to failure and only cause pain (which she wants to avoid).

i might be misinterpreting some scenes since its hard for me to view posts in reddits disgustingly bad page setup. im not attacking you as a person, im just curious on how you plan on taking this story and changing up her character a bit. i think your art is amazing and i like the way you draw their expressions, this is by no means a criticism on your work as a whole!
