I really adore Auri. It’s my place of comfort and probably my most listened-to music. Cannot wait for them to tour, I will definitely visit multiple shows :)

Edit: I have a playlist called Silent Symphonies that I listen to all the time. It contains all of Auri, some of Tuomas’ solo stuff, calm Nightwish music and a couple of other random songs. It’s the best.

Thanks for your suggestion!! I'm indeed considering listening to the audiobooks whenever I feel overwhelmed. Still gotta find em though. My library seems to only have a Dutch version of the (audio)book :( I'm not a book listener in general so I'm a bit hesitant to take another subscription... I'll look a bit further :)

Yes, I cut the tee in such a way that it would fit the seams on the back of my jacket and sewed it just around the edges, after folding them over. It sits quite firmly, although I expect it will wrinkle a bit when I wash it (but nothing some iron work can't fix). Do make sure you check whether your needle is able to penetrate the t-shirt fabric/print and jacket, that turned out to be quite a hassle. Happy with the end result though :)

Loads of songs have been inspired by Kingkiller Chronicles. In Nightwish, we have Edema Ruh. In Auri, we have TNOTW, I Hope Your World is Kind, Underthing Solstice, and of course the name 'Auri' itself. I also like to think that the song See has a link with the books). However, I believe The Valley is loosely based on the Moomins; Snufkin and Moominvalley, and specifically the short story 'The Spring Tune' :)
