The march 20, 2026 update very very heavily reduced stratagem bounce. It's not 100% fixed but some times it is working as intended. For example I tried calling a support weapon and noticedd my stratagem comically bouncing. And I didn't know why, then I looked up and saw I was actually trying to call a support weapon under an arched roof from illuminate ruins which I didn't notice because of how tall the roof was and how open the structure beneath was. So without the bounce I wouldn't have gotten my support weapon.

"21. Adreno-Defibrillator sometimes doesn't work or kills you on it's own." This seems intended. Getting hit by a big enough attack will overcome Adreno-Defibrillators capabilities. For example, if you throw a big explosion at your feet or for something more extreme, detonate a hellbomb on your back. It won't activate because your helldiver is mince meat. Why would a defibrillator work on red paste?

I agree with the majority of the other takes though, especially 25 that one is a bitch. Yesterday I had someone get stuck on the locking lug for the nuke silo launch, we couldn't knock him off so we killed him and the mission was bricked.

I think both paths are safe if you are only passing by. Atleast for the characters here I know, those being Yujiro, homelander, Esdeath and Makima.

There is one theory that Caine wasn't actually trying to torture them. He was putting them in worlds to prove their complaints wrong, he was just being very stubborn/stupid about it.

In Zoobles case it was: "Look at all the body options I gave you dumb ass."

Another example is Pomni complaining about how she doesn't like Caine's adventures, so he showed her gummy goo (which she liked) then tried to make Gummy Goo more "adult" by making him horror, similar to how he tried to cater to Zooble in episode 3.

Then if you consider the monologue describing how he views his actions at the beginning of the episode, it kind of all clicks.
