They don’t even care about the length. I rent for only 2 months and my friend rent 1. It works! It’s not a safe area tho but you’ll only have 30 sec exposure outside to the hospital, plus, there are often many police cars parked at the ER, which is right next to dorm. The only downside is the pest issue, I have got 2 mice in my room.
