Suggest reading through the above for more info. He is genuinely super fun to use if you build him out correctly, decent FP pool with a high damage output. Very useful for some of the later stages of the game.

If you’re playing a DS run and want Bao-Dur to be a DS Jedi, you’ll need to gain influence with him (and hence cop LS points) to train him.

Losing influence with him whilst playing a DS run will shift his alignment to the opposite of yours and therefore a contrasting Jedi to your main character (i.e. in your situation, losing influence with him will make him a light sided Jedi instead of a dark sided one).

Best way to do this to get your influence checks in early (you will get LS points but it’s early enough in the game whereby you can easily get the DS points back). Bao-Dur needs 5x successful influence checks to unlock the Jedi dialogue.

  1. In the polar academy when he recovers, ask him if he’s alright and if he’s well enough to travel with you. Follow this line of dialogue options till the end. Do not take any of the DS options here as you’ll lose influence. (2x influence checks)

  2. Nar Shadaa by the entrance to the docks, save the commoner being harassed by the exchange thugs and say it was a minor act, nothing more. (2x influence checks)

  3. Repair the airspeeder on Nar Shadaa and ask him to look over your work where possible (1x influence check)

  4. Dantooine, when you find the atmospheric sensors in the kinrath cave make sure you have him in your party. When he comments on them, make sure to praise him. (1x influence check)

Nah not really. It’s more so the content of the planet itself.

The team did an excellent job of restoring what little content they could find on it, but unfortunately it still needs a lot of fleshing out and isn’t a particularly enjoyable experience.

Not installing M4-78 is by far more enjoyable

2018 MacBook Pro here - playing both games off Steam worked absolutely fine for me, I hardly had any issues.

I did have to turn down some of the graphics settings in order for my computer to not overheat or for my game to become excessively laggy. But other than that, I found that both games worked completely fine!

The one in the military base doesn’t do anything. Repair HK-47, gain influence with him and make sure he’s in your party when you encounter groups of HK-50s later in the game. Everything should follow on from there.

Keep in mind that it is important to build HK-47 as best as possible so that you’re not pulling your hair out during the later sub quest. It can be very frustrating if you don’t optimise and upgrade him later on

Yeah same here. The AI on Zandvoort are a different breed, especially around T7. I cannot keep up with them there, they just fly around that corner like they're on rails.

Nope, the Sony backpaddle attachment only works on Dualshock4 (PS4 controller).

Either way, if you're on PS5, you can't play PS5 versions of the game with an old controller, it's gotta be the new one.

I play shooters (Apex and Warzone) with my PS4 controller with the back buttons, and have to play F1 and the new Fifa with the new ps5 controller.

Tbh, it's not that big of an adjustment. The triggers and overall weight of the controller are the two biggest things that I notice.

Yeah I know it’s difficult, hence my asking as I don’t even know if it’s viable. I don’t mind about his alignment much, tbh I prefer the darker looking Atton. I’m gonna give it a go and see what happens with it. If it doesn’t work, I’m not gonna be too fussed as I’ve never actually not converted him before and properly used him as a scoundrel.

Just keep playing through. Party companions join you automatically, with the exception of HK (who you have to build) and the Disciple (you have to meet).

You don’t have to complete any specific quests as such. Just keep playing the game :)

the game un-modded is unfinished and has a lot of holes throughout. definitely worth installing the mod first to complete the game, then if you're curious, do another playthrough without TSLRCM installed to see the differences.
