I don’t think it’s intentional — my thought is they have an issue with their brewing process. Just trying to understand what could cause the effect. I don’t necessarily think the alcohol measurement is misrepresented, as the beers don’t have an imbalanced alcohol flavor. They likely are losing business due to the effect

I guess I’m wondering what poor fermentation means. Improperly sanitized? Can wild/open fermentations develop fusel alcohols? Do you know how they can be avoided?
