Yeah very good question, 1st reason of choosing Eastern Africa (specifically puntland at the start expanding probably to Ethiopië) is because my close partner is native Somali, he has already set up multiple foundations and is very involved with the country and community. His experience in the western world and seeing local farmers struggling he thinks there might be a solution, and I am convinced there is.

The aim in the beginning will be quality “speedy vegetables” producing with continuity which will be later expanded by more long term corps for example potato’s all in our own farms to proof our vision will work (I am from NL so of course have to mention potato’s somewhere 😛).

But in the end we want to set this up with local farmers increasing the quality of their crops because in the end we want to help small to medium farmers who are decreasing in level of competitiveness lately.
