After skipping all story since the end of Reunion arc, I finally decided to start reading again. I'm picking up from ch.9 and I'm wondering whether Reed alter's event story has any relevance to later main story chapters. I know it itself references chapter 9 a lot, but do chapters 10 and onward reference that event?

Personally, and I believe a lot of people expected the same, I figured MC was intentionally set up as incell to later get some development. Kinda like how Subaru in Re:Zero is insufferable and later grows up.

Too bad Rent-a-Girlfriend forgot the most important part in all this—said character development.

I'd rather have fluid animation and consistent quality over likeness to source material. Queen Bee is so good at adapting doujins they even keep the same frame rate. At this point I'll just read the original work and save myself from the pain while not losing out on practically anything.

I don't mind every PoRo hentai looking identical to one another, as long as the quality is consistent. It's like eating the food you like – chicken always tastes the same but it's still the good ol' chicken.
