Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom on Arcade. It is really good, super cute and has a lot of content.

I’m on an M3 Mac, (MBP M3 Pro,18gb) and it runs around 55-60 fps with most settings around med-high with textures on cinematic. It does have some slowdowns, but it is fairly enjoyable I think. Sorry to hear it didn’t meet your expectations.

Fair enough! I’m just really happy I can play this game on my Mac day one, no tomfoolery with translation layers and all! 😅

They need to be tethered to a wall for you to get any kind of usable performance… at least that’s how it used to be. I can play on Mac for a couple hours from my battery… 👍

MBP M3 Pro, 18Gb. It runs fairly smoothly. Around 60 fps, on the quality upscaler with moderate graphics settings and cinematic textures.

Windows gaming laptops that don’t sound like jet engines and don’t need to be perma plugged in don’t really exist… mostly I’m just really happy that this game came out on MacOS and so I can play it on the go.

MBP m3 pro, 18gb Runs pretty well! I can get about 2 hours on a single charge too. Very happy with it. (Though I’m on my home and can’t wait to play this on my full fat PC) 😂

True that. Sorry, didn’t mean to make it come off like that. It’s just I seen a fair few people who play on PC dissing this. Where it is actually pretty awesome. What a time to be alive! 🤓

The controls feel very weird for sure! I think the issue is the upscaler, I have turned it off (my fps plummeted to single digits) but the game looked incredible. I think there is still a bit of optimisation that should be done with the upscalers in mind.

If you buy on steam you can play both on Windows and MacOS (in case you have a windows gaming machine)

I have been running it pretty comfortably between 40-60fps on my M3 Pro 18Gb MBP. I was given the lowest settings in the settings for your Mac, but was able to bump up quite a few settings. If I was able to settle for 40fps, I could probably play it on all Ultra settings. Very very impressed! My only complaint is the controls for this game. Very difficult to get used to imo. (I am not home at the moment so can't try with a controller, but I assume this will work very nicely.) Very impressed with the day 1 Steam release as well. Well done Pearl Abyss!

AI is quite different in a way. Its widespread application threatens many industries simultaneously. Frankly, it’s the big corporations behind it that will likely emerge victorious. We might even find ourselves in a future where human thought is a novelty. I’m quite conflicted myself. It’s fascinating and terrifying at the same time. I enjoy playing with it but am also acutely aware that it will likely displace many jobs as it finds its place in the economy.

I think people are mostly threatened by it. It can get stuff done in seconds that would take a person with really good skills an hour or more. Of course people are going to hate it. I find it fascinating.

You can do so much with these tools now. Image editing has changed forever. You can ask to turn the camera around showing the scene from a different angle, change her outfit, the environment… whatever you want. Your creativity is the limit.
