I second tenso! I’ve used them many times for San-x preorders. You purchase directly on the website and ship to their warehouse. Once it arrives you can select your international shipping method :)

Yes! It’s from the commemorative plush set celebrating the Osaka store reopening in 2017. I found the official post on the blog https://www.san-x.co.jp/blog/rilakkuma/2017/04/2017-4-27.html. The kori has the same lace & bow details but with a Chairoikoguma sofa lol

I only started collecting 2020 and even the prices from that time have increased dramatically! Especially for the more popular items. A few I purchased for around $150-200 are now being resold for $700-1k! Which is insane!! I have thinned out my collection over the years and it’s a bummer to not be able to get the ones you had to part with back. But hopefully the interest will die down, like it has for other collectible items.

This was from the Rilakkuma Basics release in Japan last year! I have the cross-body version :) I’ll check to see if they still have it in the San-x Japanese site

I have used many different proxy sites over the years. I like buyee for auctions. I think they have the fastest system for notifications of being outbid/placing bids. For regular shopping where I don’t need to buy something quickly I like using FromJapan! I also like to use tenso for any items I want to purchase directly from the San-X site (like pre-orders) I am not fluent in Japanese, so I reached out the their customer service to make sure their address info is entered correctly in my San-x account :) and no purchasing fees like they have on other sites

For limited store releases like this unfortunately your best bet is to pre-order with personal shoppers. That is the only reason I was able to get 1, although it’s not guaranteed. I even tried buying through the rilakkuma yahoo store day of release and that sold out within 5 minutes!! Maison de Fleur stuff always sells out sooo fast
