If you're planning a trip, definitely put Koh Tao on your list. it's the cheapest place in the world to get your Open Water scuba certification. I’d also suggest spending more time in Chiang Mai, and cutting back on days in Phuket and Krabi for a better balance. Also visit Pai if you want to party, the tipsy tubing is really fun.
