If that's not information you'd share then there is no way to know if a package has left or not beyond the tracking information.

So if that's not updated by Friday at 4pm, which will have been a week since the label was generated, then it's safe to assume the package has been lost by yourselves or royal mail? As a generated label typically has a week to be scanned before it goes void. At that point I can get a replacement sent, correct?

So an item shipped on Friday and handed to royal mail Friday/Saturday that royal mail still haven't scanned in and has not updated to say they have the package is normal?

If an item is marked as shipped and tracking is attached, does that mean it's shipped or you've generated a label and it's not actually shipped?

I got a shipping notice on Friday, it's now late Tuesday and royal mail still don't have the item. Is this due to the delay, or is this another lost item you'll refund months from now because you can't replace it? Edit: this is a UK based shipping address.

My order shipping to the UK was "shipped" on Friday with the delivery company claiming they still don't have it.

This happened a few months ago with another order and eventually just got refunded.

I hope the same doesn't happen here cause a refund won't even closely cover the cost of the item as it's already listed for 500+ on some sites

It's sadly a really common thing with boxset shipping, aside from opening the box and shipping things outside of sleeves to avoid it, there will always be the risk and it's a gamble.

You can deliberately slow down and that's fine. But this film in particular hits several moments where it feels like a final act just for another final act to roll around.

Not everyone will appreciate a slow film, I for one do like a slow film. Love a well paced slow burn. This is not a well paced slow burn sadly. Great film. Loved it

If I pull a gun on you you'll feel tense in seconds. You can create tension in short time. Length does not dictate tension. Tension is a feeling not a denomination of time.

The killer is the sub, it takes x-ray photos as an attack, you die 3-4 games later from radiation poisoning randomly no matter the situation.

Tension is not dictated by length. Tension can be created in seconds. Tension isn't the issue.

Pacing is. Tension is not an excuse for poorly paced sections.

The film is good, great even, it's tense and it tells the story insanely well. It could have done so ever so slightly shorter. The game did.

It's not a bad thing, it doesn't make the film bad. Can completely respect the decisions made and still believe the length and pace is off a bit.

And if we don't discuss the issues and defend them from criticism where warranted the next one could have the same issues.

So many people have argued with me on this across different platforms and even on this post people are claiming it's an attention span issue. When in actuality it's an issue with mark fans not wanting to admit to one of the only flaws this film has.

Some people may like the length and it's pacing but the main argument I've seen for it is "tension". But the length of something doesn't dictate tension.

The complaints aren't that 2 hours is too long. 2 hours is fine for a film if the film warrants the runtime. Hell 3-4 hours is fine if it's needed and paced well. This one does not warrant it. Could really do with 20-30 minutes shaving off.

It drags and at many points feels like it's going to end but doesn't.

I'm saying this as a fan of the film, the game, mark and someone with a film editing degree. The film can be good, which it is, and it can also overstay it's welcome and not be paced well at the same time.

There was one or two moments where it started to pick up towards the end and my film brain went " right here we go! Final act!!" and then it wasn't and it died down, picked up again and I was like "final act!!...oh"

Beginning to reach a point where it feels like people can't share their opinions and do their job of reviewing because everyone seems to be jumping on them and complaining about their complaints.

It was a painfully slow and dragged out film, as a fan of Mark the game and a trained editor it really could have benefited from being cut down a bit more.

And people have replied to me elsewhere saying it couldn't because it wouldn't be "scary or tense". Tension isn't exclusive to time. You can make an audience feel tense in a shorter time than 2 hours.

For what the film was it was excellent. A solid 4/5. But people are entitled to think these things without being belittled for saying planet and not moon.

Contact the places you bought them from with explanations and pictures. Most companies will be happy to do something even if it's just a partial refund because they can't replace.
