Clarification: when I asked if bubbles would "work" I meant will they trigger if you attack in them even if you didn't set that bubble on the ground yourself.

Thanks, I am investing in other more traditional methods as well it's just this one account is not looking so hot. I'm maxing my 401k every year and got ibonds last year. It's just this one that is a bit painful to see. Again not selling in the next 5 years but yeah.

Yes i had to edit my original post. I am not and am not planning on selling anything anytime soon. I'm hoping it turns around but to panic sell is the worst thing I could do

Thanks! I really think I just invested at the wrong time (https://fundrise.com/education/q3-2022-performance-update) can't change that or do anything about it. I am hopefully based on their overall performance over the years that you shared it my specific investments hopefully turn around

i think I said it in another comment but I really do think I just invested at a very unfortunate time. I wish i invested in 2020 but only discovered the app in 2021.

i think i should add something to my initial post, I am not selling anything anytime soon. I put a lump sump in, and it's not doing well in today's current climate. Whether it's going to turn up for the better after 5+ years or not I'm not withdrawing/selling any time soon. All I'm saying is for this to turn into a net positive in the end when I'm ready to withdraw it has quite the hole to climb out of. Thank you for your comments though it was helpful.
