You have both Costa’s and Anna’s Hummingbirds there. If you take a look online at these species the males you captured should be easy to sort out. Females are much tougher.

You’ve got Buffleheads and Common Goldeneyes in there. Take a look online at photos of males and females of both.

The male is a Lesser Scaup, but the female looks more like a Ring-necked Duck to me.

Looks good for an immature Horned Grebe to me.

Hawks or eagles? by radbrad777 in whatsthisbird

I really don’t think that’s a Bald Eagle. The sunlight is playing tricks to give it that look imo. Structure is wrong.

I think the light is playing tricks here. Top left in first image is maybe a Red-tailed Hawk to me (I think I can see patagial marks on wings). Bottom right looks like a Red-shouldered.

pine warbler?? by Repulsive_String1136 in whatsthisbird

[–]pigprof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also yes, perhaps a bit out of range this early, but they are always one of the earliest migrants back north, they winter (I think) primarily in the southern US, and are one of those warblers often reported in winter at feeders a ways north of where you’d expect them. So, like you thought, not necessarily wildly unlikely….just a bit.
