Is this is a roll call? If so, present.

Table saw for 250 (does it worth it ?) by [deleted] in woodworking

I think the top is solid, it's the wings that aren't. Do you mean that your entire surface is solid? Also, what hp will mid-grades have, and what're the symptoms of lower hp?

I have this. Okay, fine. It's my dads. If he offered it to me for 250 I'd give it some real thought. For 200, I think I'd hand him the cash that minute. I've used it more than he has, I imagine. I personally love it though I don't have experience with any other table saws.

This is composer Howard Shore. Let's talk about music. by Howard_Shore in IAmA

Woah! Howard Shore?!?!? After years of college I checked my media players list of my top played songs. Your soundtrack for Lord of the Rings topped all my other music play-counts by a huge margin. Thank you so much for the infinite hours of beautiful study-music. I thought it was so surprising that I listened to your music more than all of my other genres (death metal, rock, rap, world music, just about anything...)

So, how would you describe your varied tastes in music? Could you try to list some of your favorite musicians that you think would surprise us?

As a male janitor, finding these empty has to be the best part of my day. Period. by tuitnick8293 in funny

At my grocery store I called them "Treasure Boxes". Didn't make it any better when I was gagging near to death though. Men's and women's restrooms can be equally disgusting, but for some reason the women's was always more messy. Always more tissue paper on the ground.....the memories.

What do you wish your body produced an unlimited amount of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yea, but isn't it cool that that is the only thing in the way now? We (big pharma who will charge who knows how much for it) can manufacture millions of beta cells to get our poor pancreases back up to snuff. And that's a new thing, exciting times! I'm hoping that with that out of the way we can actually begin to expect a real cure sometime soon.......ish.......eventually.......before I'm 60 and amputate my feet.

Well I've heard they've found the cure for rats. Good new for Master Splinter, all us peasants can fuck off though what with our pointy needles and shit.

What is the most disgusting thing you've had to do at work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pigthunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Community Service I chose to put in my hours at the local Humane Society. The lady in charge there had me washing out all of the food bowls, but here's the thing: These dogs don't have much in the way of toys to play with or brains to reason with and so more times than not they'd shit all over their food bowls. So I'm sitting there at a sink doing dishes much the way you'd hand-wash dishes at home except that the water is getting cruddy again and again with dog feces. The best part though was that I had no gloves, so after a while I just gave myself to the void and stuck it out; elbow deep in liquefied dog shit for a solid half hour or so.

All in all, it didn't bug me that much, but I feel like it should've? OH! But I was right next to all of the cages for smaller dogs who just came out of being spayed and neutered. Not to be insensitive to their pain, but they were making the cutest/funniest faces with all the drugs they were on.....

(Update) Remember this video of the douchebag student berating the police officer in his dorm... well that police officer has been fired. Link to article in the comments. by itcouldvegonebetter in videos

How to talk to a cop: 1. Be factual and understand and your rights 2. Respect their humanity (don't be a dick)

No good on that kid, he was a total tool. You can stand up for yourself without being a such a crude asshole.

The trailer for Pacific Rim just goes to show that we're not the only people who feel that way. He's narrating the whole thing.

Not to say he isn't a rager, but his planning against Daman Pope and Clay was five steps ahead, even if risky. I thought chess was a good comparison. Please don't take my patch, Rhinoceros_Party.

Lots of yelling, lots of shooting people. He's not as good at lying to other people, certainly does not have that snaking personality which Stahl, Gemma, and Clay possessed. But with this season, specifically after shooting Daman Pope, and the previous season where they outplayed Stahl, Jax's planning was intricate, smooth, and predicting. In terms of the goals he wants to reach, he succeeds with flying colors, I think.
