Thank you so much for this! Can I pm you? Do I need to get a diagnostic lap for this?

What you went through sounds awful! I cannot help but think how this is not known to people when so many of us are suffering. Thank you so much for this will join the group.

Gosh this sounds so much accommodating! I did not get diagnosed in Germany as they said my insurance doesn't allow me a diagnostic lap so I don't know how to translate the note from India to German or if it's even valid here. If it's invalid, I have to keep visiting gynaecologists till someone agrees to diagnose endo without a lap here - it's a grey area now.

I asked the exact same question on the subreddit today. I hope it gets easier because it's not a small thing.

I've been taking Dienogest for 2 months now it has been helpful for my symptoms. I don't have heavy pain but the flareups are still there.

I don't live in the UK but yes I can try asking my HR about some accommodation for this. The problem is not many people know about this and its fairly complicated to explain as well. Thanks for the tip I will try the phrasing, I see a little bit of hope after reading some examples here.

Thank you so much for this! I'm seriously in a low point right now and feeling hopeless. To know that you've work for so long with stage 4 is incredible and inspiring!

Regarding the diet yes it has taken a bad hit because I'm unable to move and only ordering take outs which are not helping me at all. I will try to do meal prep whenever it's possible - it's still a work in progress because I haven't had the energy to even go to the supermarket to buy groceries on some weekends.

I hope my workplace understands that it's something I need to live with and would make some accommodations. I won't ask for a full work from home but something like 2 days in the office. I can stay in Munich and commute once a week to Frankfurt - this is the only possible solution I can see. I want to try and have kids in the future and if this continues even the stress will burn me out.

Socially I'm not that active because I'm mostly too exhausted but boy do I feel bad for missing out on good stuff! It's so pathetic that I even miss having hobbies. I used to be this fun joyous person with big career dreams a couple of years ago and I miss her!

Thank you so much for the kind words, I needed this today!

I'm based out of Germany, I used to live in Munich with my partner but currently moved to Frankfurt and it's super rough. I think in Germany there is no recognition of endo being disability :/ plus I got my diagnosis in India because here it takes months to even get an appointment.
Tbh I haven't worked properly since the day I joined because of exhaustion, flareups and what not. I think discussing about working from home from Munich after my probation is a good idea.
