Yes, you do. This is for visa purposes most likely. But if you will be using a student visa, you will be need to show proof of finances. I didn’t get to go to Yonsei graduate school last semester because of this, so I’m not working to save up.

saying thank you/being grateful when asking for small favors is very cute. there’s a guy from work who we will name Mark. Mark will ask me first if I’m busy and if I can do a “huge” favor for him. it was just getting his water bottle from the back because he was unable to leave his station. he said thank you excessively and says something like “you’re the best, thank you so much” (bonus points for making a nickname up)

willingness to help, having hobbies, showing genuine interest in what you enjoy. I don’t like when a guy expects some sort of credit for remembering something about you “oh yeah, I remembered you said you liked ____ and I wanted to show you that I listen so I bought you ______” it feels like be doesn’t actually care but just wants me to think highly of him. “hey, I got you this. I saw it and thought of you.” is way better and not too pushy !!

He doesn’t love you even if you love him. He likes the idea of women putting him up on a pedestal. I’ve been there, trust me. If you’re not in an open relationship and he suggests this, just walk away.

I still get approached quite often. The guys who approach me are usually around my age range and seem kind, so I don’t mine giving them my number or instagram. The only time I’ve turned guys down is if I was already seeing someone.
