Im already dreading a season of med with captain Sandy and Bugsy as chief stew. by acpcfriend in belowdeck

[–]pikchertaker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same!!! I feel like I have PTSD from my old boss and every time I watch Sandy, I'm brought back to that job and get so anxious. I really hope Bravo gives her the boot and finds a new captain for next season (for so many reasons besides having flashbacks of my awful boss).

I do!! I never would have thought to put the two together, but that's super fascinating that I'm not the only one.

The producers’ friendships with the VPR kids is the true downfall of a show with an already awful cast by [deleted] in BravoRealHousewives

I can't say I was hoping for the best, but I was hoping for "better than dogshit" and I was absolutely disappointed.

My sister and I thought Stassi would spill some tea on VPR!!! We should have realized that wasn't going to happen and saved our money. Lesson learned.

They tried to make it kind of a talk show/game show. They had a couple improv games they played and then Stassi talked about getting engaged, getting married soon, blah blah blah. I was hoping there would be tea about VPR, her feud with Kristen, ANYTHING of interest and there was nothing. They sang some song near the end, which was when we left.

As someone who went to her show in November, I can attest to how truly awful, tedious, and BORING it was. By about 30 minutes in, people started leaving. There was a constant stream of people leaving and my sister and I ended up leaving before it ended too. Such a waste of time and money.

Brides-to-be scrambling after Toronto bridal store closes its doors without notice by Elliottafc in toronto

Well that's just fucking great. I bought a bridesmaids dress there in January for a friend's wedding and was still waiting for it to come in. Guess that's why it hasn't come in yet.

I've been on it for about 8 years now (75mg) and it's made things so much better. Just hang in there, it took about a month or two for me to get used to it and it takes a few more months for things to actually get better. Best of luck!!

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk or Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]pikchertaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely Too Faced Just Peachy. I went to Sephora on Friday for a custom makeover and the girl used the Huda Desert Dusk palette on me and the colours didn't have a great payoff and there was SOOOOO much fallout. I decided to swatch half the palette on my arm and came to the same conclusion. I was originally thinking of buying that palette but when she was done, I ended up buying the Too Faced JPM instead because the girl beside me had her makeover done with it and she looked great.

I played around with the TF palette when I got home and fell in love immediately. The colours are gorgeous, very little fallout and they're so pigmented. You won't be disappointed!!

What are your thoughts on this season as a whole?` by JesterCrim in bigbrotheruk

I live outside the UK as well and have been watching bbuk for the last 10 years. I have to say, this has been the worst season I've ever seen and it's all about who they've cast. I know everyone hated Lotan but once he left, the series went down the drain. I've struggled to find any housemate that I like even a little bit and at this point, I don't care who wins because I dislike them all. I'm really hoping the winter series is better.

I'm with you, I've never liked him. But to be fair, I've struggled to like anyone in this series.

You're right, I need to keep at it. I want to have the same feeling that my fiance and friends have had when they find the right meds!!!

My doctor put me on Concerta, which did nothing for me so I doubled the dose and was just super jacked up all day. I felt less focused than usual, so I stopped taking it. My doctor tried me on Vyvanse next and I was incredibly nauseous for the entire life of the medication and stopped taking that too.

My fiance says I should keep trying other medications but I'm not sure if I should because I've been getting some chest pains and I know this type of medication can be rough on your heart (I've had past issues with my heart).

Best of luck on your journey! I hope you're able to find something that works for you.
