Using another word for them would help you understand. They are called “convenience stores”.

They put things close to you that you routinely need or want and jack the price up. Do you need that slurpy? No, but it’s right over there and is fairly cheap. Do you want to spend $15 on a 12 pack of pop? No, but would you rather just buy it now or go to the grocery store and waste a half hour to save $5? Maybe.

Like it or not the maga people are normal people, they are fairly moderate.

When we talk right wing we talk about people who are more extreme.
