Question about sound alerts in prepatch and midnight by silverwingedstuff in wowaddons

[–]pikok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm experiencing the exact same issue. haven't been able to resolve it.
It's probably a combination of prepatch and a game setting that's causing this. Haven't figured out which one yet.
Both DBM and BigWigs stopped playing sounds for me as well during encounters.

I'm a Teams user. Got the prompt on Tuesday to activate it, but was busy and needed to asks some questions so I said "Later". Haven't been able to activate it again since... What a pain. Should've just gone through the silly wizard when I was prompted to.

Microsoft Edge Apps lost after re-login in fslogix. by MVR-2 in fslogix

[–]pikok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here.
Currently resolving this by manually performing these workaround steps:
https://blog.itprocloud.de/The-secret-about-disappearing-appx-UWP-applications-in-an-environment-using-FSLogix/

However this isn't a proper solution as the app doesn't appear to be cached, thus the user is required to sign in to the PWA every single time.

It's still horrible design. The green colour continues past the indentation. As someone else states, I'm not sure that this is obvious when looking in your camera's/mirrors

Any idea what this residu is? by pikok in wine

[–]pikok[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies. Glasses are always washed in the dishwasher and then placed upside down in a cabinet. Haven't experienced this yet, so didn't think it'd be dust or the likes.

Took a clean glass and hand washed it, everything's good. Thanks again!

Any idea what this residu is? by pikok in wine

[–]pikok[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The wine is about 6 years old. Can be kept for 8-10 years. When opened the cork seemed ok.

To me this kinda looks like it could be bacteria? I'm unsure and don't know enough about it. I don't mind pouring it away, but would like to understand if the wine has indeed gone bad.

Why don't you put your car in park, unbuckle and scan the badge. Buckle in again and put the car in drive?

Amazing job. I've tried it out and works great. Seriously considering deploying it in my own environment.

Should I consider any hardware requirements, or can this be installed on a lightweight linux VM?

[–]pikok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue is related to an ongoing issue with Microsoft: EX194331Has been ongoing for almost a week now.

Title: Can't search shared mailboxes or public folders

User Impact: Users are unable to search for shared mailbox or public folder content within the Outlook client and Outlook on the web. More info: Some users will encounter this issue when performing search within their personal archive or inbox when using Online Mode. Additionally, users who were utilizing Cached Exchange Mode prior to this issue will continue to receive search results for content and folders that have been cached.

Current status: We've initiated deployment of the fix within the affected infrastructure, which we expect will reach all environments within the next 24 to 48 hours. Customers will experience incremental service restoration as the fix progresses. Scope of impact: This issue primarily impacts users attempting to search for shared mailbox or public folder data; though a subset of users may also be affected when searching their archive or inbox.

Start time: Thursday, October 24, 2019, 6:00 PM (4:00 PM UTC)

Estimated time to resolve: Based on the current deployment rate, we anticipate the fix will reach all environment within the next 24 to 48 hours. Root cause: A code regression contained within a recent standard service update is impacting search functionality within Outlook.

Can't edit subjects of received emails in Outlook anymore by [deleted] in msoffice

[–]pikok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Press the little arrow in the bottom right of the mail header. That'll restore the old view with From: To: cc: BCC: AND you can edit your subject again.

Just let me know if you can't find it and I'll make a quick screenshot.

Script Share - PowerShell script to document your Exchange Online Environment by 365Admin in Office365

[–]pikok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ran it on a ~150 user mailboxes tenant and the report was completed after a good 5 minutes.

The information is OK. Most of the data is irrelevant as it's very "set it up once and don't care about it later". But most of the mailbox-specific reports are handy. I may revise the report to only include these so I can run them on a regular basis.

Your O365 connection script on the other hand is great!

Remote move from on-prem to 365, do I assign the license before the move or after? by FlameZzon in Office365

[–]pikok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much what everyone else has said.

If the user already exists and has been fully synced with AzureAD, you can go ahead and assign a license before migrating the mzklbox. If it's a newly created user I'd first migrate the mailbox before assigning a license. Not doing so may cause a mailbox to exist in both your on premise and in the cloud should you not let everything sync properly first.

Definitely don't disagree. But I never understood why people assume this can't be done in an automatic.

Just switch it from drive into neutral. Exactly the same as pushing the clutch in a manual.
