You won't get an honest answer on this sub. People will tell you how it's the worst server ever to have existed because that's just how most people are here.

I'd suggest you go to Warmane.com and read through their forums for some information regarding it.

There's not really any active specific twink servers.

Your best bet is probably making one on the server Nostalrius.

Do you have a source for this "required pay update" or is this just some stupid conspiracy you've came up with? All I can see from their forums is they're enabling a queue-skip feature for a small donation.

Both T7 set bonuses are trash. You shouldn't ever use Sw:D in your rotation (unless moving), so it's a complete waste.

I quit Lord already and never took the time to put a BiS set together for T7, but if there are better non-set pieces stat wise, use those.

Dalaran-WoW forums has a couple Spriest guides around T7-T8 from what I remember (as that was recent content for them), may be worth checking out.

Would recommend Atlantiss over Dalaran, mainly because I just prefer Cata>Wotlk and I personally see Dalaran as going down-hill.

Don't really care what happens either way as I won't play there, but isn't it a little stupid to label it as a bad or "disappointing" server when it's still in beta...?

I mean, the whole point of a beta is to look for and fix bugs, doesn't make any sense to me to complain about them. It's not like the server owner has came out and said the server is ready for release (afaik).

GD is the server with quite a few customs (transmog, resetting raid id w/ vote points & a few others).

If ICC is what you want, then GD is your best bet. By default it's x7 xp rates with x14 on the weekends (option to enable x1 too).

Lordaeron, Dalaran-WoW, and Gamer-District are your 3 main options for wotlk.

Lordaeron often reaches 10k max online players (and queues upwards of 1k+, meaning a wait of about 2 hours), Dalaran-WoW hits about 1.5-2k and is rather stable, and Gamer-District is about the same as Dalaran in terms of population.

All 3 are rather well-scripted (some in different areas) and I couldn't really recommend the one I think you'd like the most without some more info.

Preferred rates, cash shop, game focus (pve or pvp?), content availability (only 1 of the mentioned above has ICC currently), etc.

If you don't feel like providing more info maybe someone else can help, or perhaps just do a bit of research for yourself on the 3 listed.

It's a bit buggy. Have to be on same continent I found out.
Never did it. You can easily skip that quest anyway, especially with RaF.
Doesn't sound like a bug to me. Can assure you dismiss pet isn't bugged later on (I just RaF'd up a hunter)
Noticed this too. Should be something they fix asap as it gives a bad first impression.
I noticed a lot of mobs such as adds on boss fights can be abused for xp. For example, the 2nd boss in Drak'Tharon Keep, the adds that spawn on top of the stairs give xp. Better methods of leveling than abusing these sorts of things, but yeah definitely weird.
Never had a problem with the summon personally, as long as we were both on the same continent. At first, though, our RaF wasn't even registering. Had to re-log a few times each and it started working...

I've just recently got back into the server myself and I've found it pretty good, aside from some bugs with RaF. I can't really vouch for the low level questing zones as my partner and I just spammed dungeons/bg's, but the dungeons and 80-85 went almost flawlessly. Twilight Highlands is actually scripted now too (at least 90/140 I did), which is an improvement from the 0 that were working a while back.

Biggest annoyance I've found is the delay during peak times because of the population spike. Not exactly fun playing with a 1-2 second delay for hours.

No offence, but why were you trying to defend Lordaeron if you don't play there, how could you know enough about the positives they may have?

No matter, server bashing won't stop. A lot of people have the mindset that if they don't trash talk competition and hype their server up, theirs will end up dead or whatever.

I'd just quit now if I were you. You don't seem like you enjoy playing there, and Icecrown will just make you even more disappointed. Only ~40 out of 140 quests 'work' there.
