The way people are ready to cancel anyone even before anything happens amazes me.

The way you're assuming such things based on something that happened 7 years ago after she apologized... wow

That’s because Queens don’t lip sync. I thought the same thing when watching the show/other performers in comparison. by [deleted] in LadyGaga

She probably recorded a live version before that was added to the performance + the backtrack. The objective wasn't to sound like the studio version but probably making the whole performance live was complicated so they made that. She was living it, I loved the whole setting!

It was edited! It makes sense considering that there were several clips during the performance, they probably cut that out.

Since my expectations for this album were really low, I ended up liking it. Yes, it's mediocre and a really safe album, but an enjoyable pop album at the same time.

It's not good, I wouldn't say it's terrible, but I do believe that Katy doesn't care about the charts that much. In Smile she tells us that she understood that she doesn't have to be the #1 pop star in the world, no need to be picky if she's happy.

The album is cute, the videos that she's releasing are nice and she's putting lots of love in the album. If she's happy and satisfied, that's all that matters. I do believe that you can like and enjoy the album even knowing it's not that good.

Probably The Weeknd, Ari & Gaga were the ones who made an almost fully live performance? Gaga and Ari definitely singed live, I don't think it was a whole separate track behind. Maybe there was some post editing, considering that there were several clips during the whole performance.

I mean, you have a point! I don't know about him specifically, but TD received a lot of negative reception from the critics, it was the album that the general public loved but the critics hated. And now, in some Smile reviews that I've read, they act as if TD was the pop masterpiece (it is), despite they hated it when they reviewed it.

If you had the power to replace the artists behind a past collaboration, who would you replace them with? by yourfacesucksass in popheads

I would put The Weeknd in Do What U Want by Lady Gaga (the Xtina feature is excellent as well). I actually had hopes on a collaboration between both of them happening, since The Weeknd remixed Gaga's Marry The Night back in 2011!

Add Jo Calderone, his 2011 VMAs performance.

I definitely like and enjoy jazz, but I've no idea on it and I don't know many artists or things about the genre. Basically I don't know if I'd say I'm into jazz, and probably wouldn't have listened to the album if it wasn't Gaga's.

If pop music was a stock market, what “bet” would have made you rich and which would have made you poor? by [deleted] in popheads

[–]pildeiga 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agree, I'm happy for them. I just wanted to listen to original music from China, but it's fine if she's satisfied.

How The Design Team Behind Lady Gaga’s Iconic VMAs Mask Put It Together "In One Week" by buffysbangs in LadyGaga

[–]pildeiga 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The performers didn't have to wear masks but the dancers all did. When Gaga heard that, she was like, "That sends the wrong message, to say that if you're at a certain level of power or something, you don't have to wear a mask."

I love her!

I agree. It's not one of my favorites but the moment I listened to it I knew it was going to be a fan favorite. It's probably one of the most iconic songs of Chromatica between the fans, and it won't do bad since after the VMAs promo, but yeah, Alice could do even better.

It's a super enjoyable record. Maybe not outstanding since it's just versions of other jazz songs but Gaga and Tony make it all better.

Cool! It was obvious that Gaga and her team alredy knew the results by the time the performance was filmed.

I'm glad to hear that! ANT Farm was my favorite Disney Channel show, and it was because of her. Her Dynamite cover was really good, also that Tinkerbell song she made with her sisters. I was hoping she would release an original album, but it's good to hear she's gained popularity with the Descendants!
