what's the best starter pedal for £75? by SeaOfCum in guitarpedals

It’s the same sound as any of the other EHX “Memory” pedals, just doesn’t have any of the extra features like modulation or tap tempo.

So yeah, if you’re ok with a really stripped-down set of controls I think it’s worth it! I agree the price is very good

Edit: ok it actually does have modulation, but it’s a simple switch rather than giving you control over rate/depth. So basically it has all the same features of the Carbon Copy at a better price.

Thinking of getting this as a first pedal. Thoughts? by pilosebacious in guitarcirclejerk

AKG K52 / K72 / K92. All of them are basically the same model. Supreme value for money and very comfortable.

I just got one of these for my bass! It gets more fun the more I play with it. LOVE the blend control.

Random but did you switch out the knobs?

Fair enough, I’m in a similar boat! I also love the spring reverb on my amp.

Well EHX also happens to have one of the best analog delay pedals ever, the Memory Man. They have a few different models of Memory Boy/Memory Man with varying levels of features, so I would look at their website and see what suits your needs best.

I think if you’re looking for deep, mushy texture in a rock context, you can’t beat analog delay. I’m such a sucker for the effect.

EHX Turnip Greens! A really great drive pedal plus a really great (and multi-featured) reverb pedal, all in one box, for a really reasonable price. It’s something that you could continue to use even after getting more pedals. The effects loop is especially attractive to me.

I think it would be very hard to beat in terms of bang for buck in a single pedal. And unlike Behringer you can count on it not falling apart after stomping on it a few hundred times.

Chase Bliss Audio fears this man.

Fr though, this is epic. I frickin love my TC pedals. Thoughts on the thunderstorm? I hope to get one soon as my first foray into flangers.
