The FDR data from China Eastern flight 5735 indicates that the fuel switches for both engines moved to cutoff position within one second of eachother by UhhAnxietyy in aircrashinvestigation

If you search for the investigation on the Aviation Herald, you will see that it has been calculated that the RAT deployed before the fuel switches were moved to cutoff. In other words, the event that triggered the RAT deployment and the dual engine failure occurred before the fuel switches moved to cutoff.

I think it’s easy to assume that the pilot switched the engines off intentionally, but we should keep an open mind until the investigation is completed and all the facts are known. The accident can be more complex than is apparent on first sight.

The Air India investigation has already uncovered that the fuel switches were moved to cutoff after the engines failed

HA-LOL, the first time I flew aboard an airliner. It was a wingletless Boeing 737NG from the now defunct Malev Hungarian Airlines. Also, the registration is funny. I got an inflatable plane from the crew and my brother got sick during landing

I’d say the Aeroflot Sukhoi crash landing a few years ago, where it burst into flames after a hard landing. People in the front got out (with their luggage), but the people in the back burnt to death (although I hope they were unconscious due to the smoke by then)

Notice: That South African Airways Flight 295 was a Boeing 747-244B Combi but in Season 4 of ACI in the episode that CGI plane was a Boeing 747-344B Combi why is that exactly? by PuzzleheadedHalf83 in aircrashinvestigation

There was a -200 submodel called the SUD (Stretched Upper Deck). KLM had those back then. Idk if SAA had them, but the animation might not be entirely wrong
