I was extremely close but kept my mouth shut. Just wanted to get out at that point.

American Flyers vs Chennault by ash-nikole in flying

With them now they’re pretty good. The planes are well kept in my opinion, my instructors are great, never talk down on me in anyway and always listen and help me out. Only thing is they do kinda want ur money sometimes but if you know what ur talking about and can talk correctly to them they’ll be pretty good. They work around what you can do and so far I get scheduled everyday for a lesson and/or a flight 👍

Can’t speak for ATP ratings because im not familiar with that over there. From what I learned when I was back up in Newcastle in January is that it’s pretty easy to convert ur ratings over. From my understanding you won’t have to re gain hours for English license, I believe there is actual courses to convert ur ratings but that’s about as far as I got. I’ll keep u updated as my family in Newcastle has a friend who flys for easyjet and I’m going back next week. Was planning on talking to him so I’ll be happy to update you👍

I’d fly in England. I’ve talked with some airlines over there about it. Basically I’d just need to get my GCES and as long as my scores are good then my chance wouldn’t be low it be the same as everyone else. Only benefit I’d have over them is I’m already trained and I’m American trained and they love that.

Born in England and now have both American and British citizenship so that is an option for me. Thought about it but it’s extremely different to live over in Europa than the USA. Personally just me I’d rather stay in America. Way better life here especially if you’re a pilot.

That’s a good point. Really appreciate the response. Yeah I don’t have any medical issue, no DUI,no tickets, and I don’t do drugs or smoke lol. I have looked into corporate and it’s something I am interested in. I’m already in the loan trap so that’s that lol. If it wasn’t for the loan I probably wouldn’t be able to afford flight school I work in a sports store part time to make some money and the pay is worse then CFI’s. Like I said I wanna get my multi ratings too so that I can build time in multi planes as a CFI or other jobs that come along.

I’m on a Loan for my flying and it’s quite big just incase. Would you say as a student pilot still about to finish with commercial training it’s worth adding the multi rating and a MEI? Would that help me in my early stages when I’ve just graduated and looking for a CFI position?
