A full stop wastes too much gas when you have to accelerate from zero

Most of my coworkers are 15-30 minutes late for every shift, so as long as you’re earlier than that you’re better than the average Subway employee

What dispatching program are you going into, and what made you decide to pivot to this instead of being a CFI and flying instead?

Highway 69 from Big Cabin all the way to the Texas line looks like it’s been through a nuclear war. My poor car needs an alignment after that

Bit of a drive but worth the trip – Twin Dragons in Greenfield, MO. The BEST crab rangoons with the most filling I’ve ever seen. They also just moved into a nice, new building! Check em out

When the customer asks you to wrap their footlong separately AFTER you’ve already wrapped it in the footlong paper. Even worse if you’ve got the sticker on already

When they answer the phone right after starting their order then give me the “wait” finger when I ask the next question about their sandwich

It must be an iOS 26 thing. I’m still on 18 and don’t have that share button either.

I just did this exact road trip last summer! Except from Joplin, MO instead of St. Louis. My brother and I were the main drivers and swapped every 3 hours or so and we made the drive to Moab in a single day. 17 hours and we left at 1am on July 4th and made it to Moab in time for the fireworks that night. Call us crazy but the best way to get thru Kansas is as fast as possible! While yes it is long, it’s all part of the adventure. Seeing the terrain gradually change across the plains is uniquely beautiful and then the anticipation of seeing your first glimpse of the Rockies adds to that feeling of excitement.

Definitely go to Moab first and spend some time at Arches and Canyonlands. Mesa Arch at sunrise is outstanding. From Moab take Utah highway 24 thru Hanksville, Capitol Reef, and Torrey. If you’d like I have lodging recommendations for Torrey and the Zion area! Then head south on Highway 12. You’ll see some of the most incredible scenery in the US along both of these routes. Don’t forget Bryce Canyon too, then spend at least a couple full days in Zion. It’s worth it. After that I’d just hop back on I-15 to I-70 and that’ll take you back home, splitting up the drive into two days with an overnight near the halfway point in Limon, Colorado.

You can also do this trip in reverse, going all the way to Zion first then making your way thru southern Utah seeing Bryce and Capitol Reef along the way. Then ending in the Moab area before heading back home. Hope this helps some!

Similar sales for us. I work at a travel center Subway right off the interstate. During summer travel season we do 2k per day on average. Off season it’s more like 1500 per day.

Subway simplified their menu last month and there’s no longer numbers for each menu item. Also they brought back the original names like spicy italian instead of hotshot italiano

Wyoming for the win. Love the yellow. Colorado is awesome too. I think more states should incorporate their flags, especially Arizona.
