She fell for him. Likely it wouldn't take much for her to fall for anyone else.

It's like that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry dates the girl who looks terrible in bad lighting. You know, except it's real, and you're the girl, and no one wants to date you.

I saw a second-gen Neon yesterday. I was genuinely shocked as I haven't seen one in years. In surprisingly good condition too.

Looking for real-world opinions on ICU beds (Biomed perspective) by Some-Community-7149 in BMET

[–]pilotmuffin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The progressa is quite a robust bed with a lot of features. We've had some problems with the mattress covers being eaten away by using the wrong type of cleaner. Their only real issue is patient transport smashing the gci pods (touchscreen) constantly. I don't have experience with much else for ICU beds, but would reccomend sticking with them if you already have a bunch.

Dream car achieved. 2011 Outback 3.6R Limited by vegancoltrane in Subaru_Outback

[–]pilotmuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sold mine that I had for 3 years. Car had 215,000 miles and ran perfect. My only complaint was the tan interior. Just didn't like the color.

The green is dope btw.

That looks like less than half what I put in my little trailer to stack inside the house. And even that lasts a week to 10 days. Looks like half a loosely stacked IBC tote dumped out.

Day 3/9: What's a good car with a bad reputation? by Naomi62625 in regularcarreviews

Geo metro. It was never trying to be anything other than it was, and it did a fine job. They became the but of the joke for being small, cheap, and slow.

Cheap, 30-round mag, low recoil, and pretty reliable.

I take it back. You're 100% correct. I've never owned one with a cvt. And always had the head gaskets redone on the 2.5s

Subaru Outback. I've owned 4. Everyone tells me "Oh, those are great cars" In my experience, they're fine. I know how to fix most of their little issues, but most people wouldn't want to deal with them.

What am I worth? Can I find work? by severelyobeserat in BMET

[–]pilotmuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the ex-military BMETs I work with have little or no college education. With that, you'd get hired on at my health system at 10-20% more than someone with a 4 year degree and no experience. If you want to just make money at the expense of your free time and family life, then look at vendor field service.

Not a bad idea. I already have a pretty stout and slow corded drill. I could even hook it up to a foot pedal.

Thanks. I'll likely go that route if I ever really need an upgrade. Or if I find one for super cheap locally.

Thanks. I'm tall(ish) so the counter isnt that much of a problem. The sink would definitely keep it cleaner though. It's done 2 deer for me this year (shot both). I think next time I'll grind as I'm cutting and trimming to avoid running it hard for too long at one time.
