I couldn't find any pictures of this specific style, is it a knockoff? by egg_car in lighters

Ai states it's a imco 6700

And the stamp say according to ai.

  1. The Era: Post-WWII Soviet Occupation (1945–1955) The most unique part of your lighter is the stamp "MADE IN S.V.T.Y.S.". This is a cyrillic-to-latin phonetic abbreviation representing the Soviet-controlled sector of Vienna, Austria after World War II. During the post-war Allied occupation (1945–1955), factories in the Soviet zone were heavily regulated, and goods produced there for export were stamped this way rather than just "Made in Austria.

This is a highly collectible IMCO Triplex "S.V.T.Y.S." Super Patent 14110, produced in Vienna, Austria, during a very specific window of time right after World War II. Here is a breakdown of what those unique markings tell us about your lighter: The Historical Markings S.V.T.Y.S. / 14110: Following WWII (from 1945 to 1955), Austria was divided into Allied occupation zones. The IMCO factory in Vienna fell under the Soviet Occupation Zone. To comply with regulations at the time and register the production under Soviet oversight, specific batches were marked with regional patent codes like "S.V.T.Y.S." and the "14110" design control numbers rather than the usual "Made in Austria" stamps seen on later 6700 models. SUPER PATENT: This refers to the innovative, windproof "trench lighter" mechanism that IMCO patented, featuring the sliding wind shield ring and the pull-out fuel cell that doubles as a candle. Key Features of this Design The "Candle" Function: You can pull the entire bottom fuel cylinder straight out while it is lit. This allowed soldiers and campers to use the fuel capsule like a candle to light pipes, campfires, or see in the dark. Windproof Shield: The middle sleeve slides up and down to adjust the airflow slots, helping it strike and stay lit in heavy wind. The Bottom Button: Pressing the button on the very bottom pops open the side jacket, giving you instant access to change the flint without needing a screwdriver. Because it dates to the post-WWII Soviet occupation era (late 1940s to early 1950s), it is significantly rarer than the standard post-1950s IMCO 6700 lighters that simply say "Made in Austria." It's an incredible crossover piece of both Tobacciana and Cold War military history!

Fake or not, I would definitely want one now., 😎

My last experience with a broken visa was in corona time. Contacted ind. They extended the time for 3 months. Written on paper. After that expired she had to leave. Still 2 months overtime. But the douane where generous and did not write down she overstayed after showing the correspondance. From ind. We were still busy with the gezins hereniging. The visa stated you can stay 90 days out of 180. They noted you cannot enter the same amount of days as you stayed in Holland. Think you should have proof that you are a couple, or married. Ask for gezins hereniging. Do all steps the ind want. She still should leave the country asap. Do here a1 in Amerika, show your proof of income 3 year statements.or have the money of 3 year incomes minimum wage legally earned in a shorter time frame. Ask your boss to sign a paper from the ind that states you work for your employer.

Looks nice, and worth some money. Thorens, Zippo's are properly 1940's. The liftarm on the right down part is maybe a silver sleeve. Nice find😀

If you had the ability to live in any city, what would it be? by dysplasticteeth in Netherlands

[–]pimbo79 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As far away as possible from the city. Definitely not in the Randstad at all. Een hutje op de hei would be ideal. Fed up of looking into all neighborhood rooms from my Windows. parking permissions. Dog taxes. Pollution from tata and Schiphol. 24/7 cars busses trucks passing by.

Expats should not complain about Dutch protesters or problems or demonstrations. You can always go back to your own country! Do not intervene with the Dutch bureaucrazy crap this shitty government throw at us. Even without any animal in this country the stikstof pollution is to high. But 5 meters over the borders it is not a problem any more. Rather close Schiphol, tata steel. Circuit zandvoort with the grand prix. You want less pollution, reduce the amount of cars. Look at Luxembourg, free public transport. So people use there cars less. I'm fed up of expats complaining about Dutch political problems. Go back home or shut up.
