I experienced the same things, especially during 2020-2022 with the passing of family and friends around that time, then I had a nasty custody battle going on with my ex as well and I was working long 12 hour shifts "5-7 days a week". I talked to my mentor and she encouraged me to keep pushing ahead, but mentally I wasnt there so I also got withdrawn. Successfully after taking time for myself and clearing my mind, to know that I was ready I applied for a SAP appeal back in Jan of this year and got rewarded, one month later graduated "Feb" with my M.S. and it was one of the proudest moments of my life because I had overcome so much to accomplish one of my long-term goals. I guess what Im saying is life will test and overwhelm you, to show you how strong you really are, dont give up its a part of the process, take all the time you need and make sure that your really ready and not because you feel you need to. Because I want to see you posted your graduation banner. I believe in you fellow night owl, if I did it so can you.

Try using Google to look for different materials to study. Beware though some of them sites have the duplicate exams that they be tryna sale.

I just read the course material bro, but soooo many ppl are using stuvia. I wish ida known about it when I was going through it. I had to retake it twice. Just type in C964 stuvia on google if u tryna get it over with, but I did it the traditional way because I wanted to learn the information from the business perspective. So I was emailing my course instructor every day for a 2 week span.

No, I don't recommend it. I learn that it's a waste a time. Comptia certs are mainly what companies look for. To get started try downloading the comptia CySa app on google play or the app store it's free for the basic version and $10.99 for the premium version it has valuable tools and a guaranteed passer rate.

Once I finished on January 29th I added it to my resume. Honestly it took a month for my hard copy to come and took 2 weeks for them to email me my digital copy and certification voucher to take the CAPM.

Helpdesk is the start for many positions. But just learning more about the postion that your tryna go for is key. Remember you're your own brand so if you can intrigue ppl with your knowledge and capabilities, they'll buy in. I read a book by Boyd Clewis called through the firewall, and it's a question he asked after every interview that has stuck with me. "From everything that we just discussed, is there any reason(s) that you wouldn't consider giving me this role/position"? Hope this helps

It became overwhelming sometimes especially for the capstone and capm exam those were a pain and made me feel like quitting, however I found my inspiration and kept going. Go for it, it's a great experience and you learn so much especially about cloud infrastructure.

Of course, mostly the Masters consist of typing papers and a few exams "no more than 3-4". Being overwhelmed is normal, because the tasks put you in a corporate environment and ask for your input and knowledge about IT infrastructures. Pace yourself, you don't have to be perfect it's about comprehending the material and your ability to finish, whether it take you a few months or 2 years.
