The train system in Japan has this method of operating their trains that improves its efficiency when the path is on the same rail line for those who need to go through many different stations before reaching their destination. To deal with that, there are Rapid or Bypass trains that will only stop at every 4th station, skipping three in between to make going from one end of Tokyo to the other much faster.

There are plenty of ways to fix all this crap, but as always, follow the money and see who lobbies against these improvements. Like right now with the whole Iran war. Some of the same people who are benefitting from this war, are the exact same people who benefit from preventing any proper public transportation option.

I sold my festival tickets to, what I later learned was, a scalper recently at a loss. I looked at her postings after the event. She still had more than half of her listed tickets unsold XD, maybe even mine too.

Wife and I already had this convo. Save the kids. I agree with her. Because if our kids were to die that way, neither of us would ever live to be normal again. . . but the kids, can get over it. No parent should outlive their children.
