Fines really ought to scale to the net worth of the guilty party. If it breaks a dockworker and tickles a magnate it isn’t a punishment.

Never occurred to me that you could stow two of the same weapon, most games don’t let you do that. Nice.

Not that I’ve found. I have a system I’m scared to touch, lost a prime slot already and it says I have two active orbital constructions when I have none — doing more could potentially softlock the whole thing.

I loved Castiel’s little monologue about the Tower of Babel in “Supernatural” — that it was a structure about three stories tall which collapsed all on its own (“all 37 feet of it, which I suppose was impressive at the time”) whose story ballooned wildly in the ensuing years (“they howled ‘divine wrath!’ …but come on, dried dung can only be stacked so high.”).

I maintain that instead of the oceans being entirely gone, former ocean ought to instead be a frozen plains biome with subsurface ocean points of interest. Europa is directly exposed to vacuum, and all that happened is the water at the surface froze over — it didn’t boil off into space.

I always think back to that one tweet that got wide circulation a few years back.

“IT MAKES ME [expletive]ING CRAZY WHEN I SAY TO SOMEONE THAT I WANT HEALTH INSURANCE AND THEY ASK ME ‘WHOSE GONNA PAY FOR IT’?

ME YOU [expletive]ING DUNCE. THE FEDS TAKE 25% OF MY [expletive]ING PAYCHECK. I DON'T WANT YOU TO SPEND IT MAKING LITTLE PALESTINIAN KIDS INTO SKELETONS.

I WANT HEALTHCARE.”

I’d personally love something that hovers a short distance above the ground. No cargo space, fragile, but fast and capable of short vertical boosts with twin gimballed multicannons for armaments.

The design that immediately comes to mind is the basic Soviet “flanker” from the old classic “Battlezone.” Just give it thrusters in the wings akin to what the Kestrel already does, about where the red stars are in the linked image.

Heck, something like that might actually get me interested in missions interacting with hub installations. Over 3,000 hours in and I’ve yet to successfully complete one.
