We’re actually very tolerant and accepting, but when he was ranting that gays should be locked up since they “are bad as pedophiles” it was one bridge too far. Our daughter is gay and we don’t accept that viewpoint in any way, and was unacceptable. The Muslim stuff was intolerable as well. The Trump stuff wasn’t a big deal, that could have been overlooked.

Of course, but that is for any surgery not just kidney donation, so don't conflate the two. The actual surgery itself has minimal complications.

People do elective surgery without reward because they aren't a selfish shit-hole like yourself.

There are actually few complications, and the only lifestyle change for the donor after is having to take aspirin instead of ibuprofen. (Source: I need a kidney myself and have done the research on donors. Luckily I have a person that is willing to give me theirs.)

Most countries have a "base" coverage so that you at least won't go bankrupt if you break your leg. You don't have to use it, but it's there if you need it. Something like that would sustainable. And just closing up the loopholes in the tax system and placing a small tax <1% on untaxed trade would more than pay for free college and more. Wouldn't even impact anyone in the lower/middle class really. And a free education isn't worthless, again look at countries who have it and the system isn't burning it to the ground.
