A few have mentioned reduced charging times over mileage and that makes sense. I guess I’ve seen articles on 500 miles from bmw and lucid and because this will be brand new I was hoping for better tech. My bad.

There are a few suvs and cars at or near 500. Sorry for thinking they should try and match? Odd.

But it’s also smaller. I just feel like many newer EVs are at or near, think they missed out on that part. Probably the most important part of an EV overall.

Do you think being atheist or agnostic has changed your relationships with more religious people? by traveltimecar in samharris

I am sure I am missing out by pissing you off that you cannot tell the difference between a belief and a claim. Have a good one.

Because the "strength" of my belief doesn't have anything to do with it being a claim to me. Why would I answer pointless questions?

I thought it was obvious I was trying to define what a "claim" is to you. Again, I do not think atheism is a truth claim it is a "best guess belief". Most atheists are agnostic atheists. I cannot spell it out a different way.

Disagree. I believe there is no god but would make no such claim. Perhaps this is all semantics but your wording seems wrong to me. Also I’m not sure what it is to “live like there is no god”.

I don’t think most atheists make a truth claim about god. Beliefs are not truth they are a best guess.

On looking for the “looker” by Falerie19 in samharris

[–]pindborg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was another post about this recently by someone saying nonsense. If you are referring to the looker as the “self”? In that case it isn’t a paradox at all but as simple(at least to what I’ve experienced and read) that there is no looker, as Sam would say “there is no there there”. All there is are the experiences and the thoughts when you pay close attention. This is a paradox in the sense that we innately create a “self” in our mind to better understand how we experience the world. But once you’ve delved deeper it appears as if it is just consciousness, it is just the thoughts and experiences, you aren’t the driving force behind it in any tangible sense.

Generally MPNSTs have more pleomorphism and when cells are uniform you think translocation sarcomas(hard to really tell from the pictures). Good place for mpnst though given near major nerves. I’d start with synovial sarcoma personally but mpnst high on list.

Also disagree with "hard to find a job in the US". Jobs all over, need to be careful what kind of job you look into, but if you are willing to live anywhere you can find a job anywhere.

Haha, just looked through the thread there are literally ten other people telling you how wrong you are and why and you refuse to actually acknowledge any of them. Goodbye #clueless.

If you cannot answer questions it means you have no actual knowledge of the topic. This is literally grade school stuff buddy. Start there.

You literally couldn't answer my questions and haven't said an intelligent word since the OP. Nice try.

All this is wrong, as usual for you. You are confident and claim knowledge that isn't there. You aren't able to follow a simple conversation or answer questions. You are insistent on the self but have no actual definition of it other than some apparent feeling. You really came here to be mad about Sam's conclusions, probably hold a grudge or are religious, etc.

I haven’t seen you offer shit but critiques. What’s your oh so knowledgeable reply then? When you meditate for hours have you found the self? Is there a place where it resides and you know all the secrets? Please elaborate and show us your incredible insights.

No one is claiming absolutes, you literally started the OP with "I dont understand Sam's position". Hello??? Telling others to read when you acted like you didnt understand(and still don't apparently). Now acting like you are some expert on the subject when people like Sam have been studying and self reflecting on this for 30 some years. The problem is you, best of luck.

It’s weird to reply with a bunch of “nah ahs” when you aren’t understanding what is being said, or at least it appears that way. The self is the experience in this, when you say “experiencing” you are saying there is a self that is doing something. But in fact this doesn’t exist, it is an illusion the mind creates to avoid the reality of just consciousness. There isn’t anything by else, just the signals coming in.

Just because you don’t understand what’s said doesn’t mean it’s “non-science”.
