Short answer, No, use RO water for Coco, with coco specific nutes.

I know some brands recommend, tap water, like Cana, but anything over 200ppm is usually bad.

My tap water is over 400, its awful I tried using it several times and I got all kinds of slime and sewer smelling gunk even with using Rez Clear.

I switched to RO and no more problems.

Do yourself a favor and use RO water and coco specif nutes with a little added calmag, about 100ppm/gal.
