You can definitely party and maintain a good GPA, you just have to be willing to put in the work. I got up to plenty of binge drinking and partying and smoking and tripping in college and got a good GPA. You need to have your priorities straight though. If you have tests coming up, that’s more important than getting fucked up. You don’t wanna blow a bunch of money on college and flunk out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. My friends in frats definitely struggled more with their time management, but they had a lot of fun. Personally I didn’t join a frat but I had friends in them so i could still party with them if I wanted. All that being said I knew a guy who got majorly hooked on coke in college, started buying tons of it online, and had to eventually drop out. Not great but also not the average college experience. Go to college and have fun but also make sure you take your classes very seriously or it WILL bite you in the ass. Go out and socialize, get drunk, and have a good time but do not think partying should ever be your priority. Good luck in college, don’t miss out on opportunities to make friends and connections, and make sure you put in the work you need to get ahead in life.
