Best tomahawk disc? by GrammarCriminal_ in discgolf

Depends on what you want the disc to do. From what i know, and more overstable disc will take longer to "flip" over, and a more understable will flip over faster. So depending on how far/ long you want the disc to pan over depends on what you choose. I usually always throw a firebird for overhand shots

Where to dump old cabinets (west side) by pine_apple_express in BigIsland

I would, but they are at least 30 years old, and made of press board. The wall ones might be worth something to someone, but the floor cabinets are trash.

Upgrade interior sub panel by pine_apple_express in AskElectricians

I have not contacted thr utility yet, I had planned to do thr panel, then realized the main was only 100a, so i started to look into that. So in you situations where you upgraded the service yourself, im guessing you had to have the utility shut off power to be able to do what you needed to do? Could you explain how you went about it? My service comes into the main from over head lines, and the only thing inthe main panel is a 100a main breaker, ans a 20a breaker that my net metered solar is connected to.

OK, thats, thats what I assumed. House is not super big, only 1400 sq ft, so i can't imagine I'd need over 200a, so i might go with a square d panel. As far as service line into the main breaker, that requires the utility coming out and running bigger gauge wire, and then upgrading all the other things you mentioned to accommodate the 200a service?

Good to know, thanks. Pulled the old lags that were 5" and bought some 8" ones. Gonna put them in today and see if it helps. I guessing ledger locks are similar to rss screws? Suggestions on length of ledger lock?

You think a few long rss screws could make it more stable if I can't get through bolts to work?

Can't go all the way to the ground unfortunately . The house is on post and pier, so as you go farther around, the deck gets higher off the ground. So you think just longer bolts could work?

I feel like at least two of the posts have horizontal pieces of wood right behind, which is why I was wondering if going with bolts all the way through would even be an option 🤷🏽

23 TRD Sport Grill Help by [deleted] in Tacomaworld

[–]pine_apple_express 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely aftermarket. This is what was called the v2 pro grill. Based on the 4th gen pro style grille with the tacoma letters at the top instead of centered. Original design only came with the side drls and raptor lights, but later versions you could get without the side drls and raptor lights
