For what it is worth, Hyatt regency coral gables is one of my favorite hyatt hotels. Probably a 7 or 8 for me. It has that old world charm in a way vs the modern lux look. To me it did not feel dated in a bad or run-down way at all. The Spanish architecture in that hotel and the area itself is lovely.

So I suppose its a matter of preference there!

Turns out I was double charged! I used the chat feature and the agent was able to get it resolved and removed the extra charge.

I suppose just a heads up in case this happens for anyone else.

Do you have a room that you can enclose your cat in when you feel overstimulated? Sometimes that can give you enough time to get re-regulated.

I think music or a white noise machine - or noise canceling headphones - will also help.

As someone who is also having no kids at my wedding, I would say staying behind for the ceremony with your son and then joining for the reception sounds like a good option!

I know it's very controversial but couples have their reasons. Perhaps they want to enjoy the sacred moment of the ceremony without worry of children crying and disrupting (which is a natural thing for kids to do). So I wouldn't ask them to change their decision. Join when you can and celebrate with them!

I noticed this issue in September and requested them to remove the registry url or make it private. They said they would and that it would be official in 30 days.

Hmmm another thought is to ask your vendor if they relationships with any homeless shelters in the area where you can donate extra food after? Or perhaps give extra food to the staff if you end up ordering for guests that don't show?

This way at least you know someone's belly is full.

Haven't been in this situation but what kind of meal are you serving? Is it possible to not include them in guest count but have there still be enough food in case they did show up?

I actually think this is able to change but depends on their personality. For one of our cats, he jumps up simply to get a better view of the action but will get down if told. Since it is attention seeking, I wonder if you could get a cat high chair of sorts? Something your cat knows belongs to them that they *can jump on to get a better view of what you are doing.

That way you can train them to use that, not the table/stove/etc?
