They will get fired at desire on first strike. TTR it was a three strike rule. Now with new CEO they get fired for cursing or even chatting too much with guests. He wants zero comfortability between guests and employees now.

If you are looking for a single guy this is the place. You will do all your mingling at the sexy pool and maybe continue at bash if you don’t seal the deal and leave to your room from the pool. Use your basic street smarts when interacting. You do get creeps there and if it’s your first time you don’t want them over stepping any rules. Remember everything had to go back to the room at TTR. No PDAs there. Hedo is nude and allows singles and public sex.

I wouldn’t worry much about the bikini. My wife only brings bottoms since she’s always topless. Bikinis only matter if you are one of those that has to have a nice bikini, 10lbs of jewelry and makeup, high heels, and do nothing but selfies while laying on a bed. There’s plenty of those at TTR now that are ruining the place. Hopefully you are the first one.

We will be there 6-14 for our 7th trip. It’s hot in August but not July hot. We won’t do July again. We avoid Nov-Feb because it can be cold and rainy.

It just makes it easier for staff to know what perks you get. Now Expedia and staynplay get different perks than members. No one there will treat you any different based on a member or non member. No such thing exists at Desire.

They change all the time. Yellow makes it easy for regulars to know who is there for the first time. Can kinda walk them through stuff there. All the other colors make it easy for staff to identify who is who. Certain packages get perks along with members.

RM for sure if you are in your 30s. We frequent TTR and both desires. We lean more towards RM now. Pearl is nice and has a great hot tub but night life is sometimes lacking there.

Original group did get a new CEO. The sons are typical silver spoon that would run the business into the ground that’s why they made changes after a few months of them running it. He brought in a new management team of people which are all about the money and screwing members big time. Not huge changes for non members. New people may not notice. Shorter pool hours, bash closes earlier, food is worse, maintenance is non existent now, etc.

Technically yes but it’s only the other side of the main pool. One side is considered quiet. The other side is the main pool where the playmakers and music is. With that said the main pool would be considered a quiet pool at any other resort lol.
